The Crown
Located on the right hand side of the wristwatch sits the crown, protected on either side by the crown-guards. You use the crown to set the time and date. It also serves as the secondary winding mechanism for the mechanical Swiss movement, the so called engine, which powers your timepiece. When the crown is completely screwed-down it establishes a water-tight seal and secures the watch for diving or water activities. This watch is water proof to depths of up to 1000-feet (which is 300 meters); this is deeper than most people will ever venture. Our crown is screwed into place, which is the ultimate in security; this is the same function found on brands costing thousands of dollars (e.g. Omega, Rolex, Breitling), as opposed to some companies which only use pushed-in crowns. To ensure easy and comfortable operation, our crown is nice and large to enable any size fingers to grip it. We hate frustration as much as you, so why stress when setting your Swiss timepiece.
